Политическая деятельность
Про Давида Борисовича известно не много. На своей должности в компании он проработал до 2009 года, после чего решил организовать свой собственный бизнес. Макарьян сделал ставку на фитнес-центр и не прогадал. Известно, что Давид Борисович не из богатой семьи и собственное дело начинал за личные средства. На одной из пресс-конференций журналист назвал его мажором, однако получил жесткий ответ от будущего народного избранника. Не смотря на не совсем славянскую фамилию, сам Макарьян считает себя практически русским. Свою политическую карьеру он начал в партии «Удар» в 2010 году. Вскоре ему доверили возглавить областную организацию партии. На этом посту он проявил себя достаточно активно и отметился несколькими интересными инициативами по привлечению в ряды партии молодежи. Макарьян принял участие в парламентских выборах 2012 года, однако потерпел неудачу и продолжил представлять интересы «Удара» в Николаеве. На этой должности он проработал до начала массовых протестов на Украине против действующей власти, которые происходили в конце 2013 начале 2014 года. В период евромайдана Давид Борисович оказывал поддержку оппозиции в Николаеве. На досрочных выборах прошел в парламент по списку от президентской партии «БПП», в котором находился на 66 позиции. В настоящее время в парламенте является членом комитета, который занимается проблемами транспорта.
